Refund and Cancellation Policy

At RivExcel Tours, we strive to provide you with excellent service and unforgettable travel experiences. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which we process cancellations and refunds.

  1. Cancellation by the Client:

    • More than 14 days before departure: You are entitled to a full refund minus a processing fee of 10% of the total booking amount.
    • 7 to 14 days before departure: You are eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
    • Less than 7 days before departure: Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued if you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled departure.
  2. Cancellation by RivExcel Tours:

    • If we cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to safety concerns, weather, or other force majeure events, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the trip at no additional charge.
    • In the event of a cancellation on our part, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative or a refund.
  3. Changing Your Booking:

    • If you need to modify your booking, please notify us at least 7 days before your scheduled departure. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  4. Refund Process:

    • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.
    • Any bank charges or third-party fees incurred in processing the refund are the responsibility of the client.
  5. Special Circumstances:

    • If you are unable to travel due to personal health reasons or emergencies, we will consider rescheduling your trip or offering a credit toward a future booking, depending on the situation and at our discretion.
